Assessment Initiatives

Programs and Initiatives:

To strengthen their individual assessment programs, CAA schools are building a "community of practice" in which assessment officers learn from each other and develop best practices. We do this through:

• Sharing information on our individual programs
• Assessment conferences. The CAA assessment officers meet annually to discuss current issues and share best practices. The most recent meeting was in January 2011 at the College of William & Mary's Washington, D.C. office. Thank you to Georgia State University for hosting in 2009 and James Madison University for hosting in 2008.
