- Providing leadership training for academic department heads
- Sharing unique programs and resources, including summer and academic-year programs that are open to students from all CAA schools
- Enabling cross-registration among CAA schools
- Resource sharing for traveling teams: providing access for athletes to academic resources on CAA campuses
- Composite academic calendars of all 12 CAA schools
