Undergraduate Research Programs

Programs and Initiatives:

The CAA schools are increasing undergraduate research opportunities for our students through:

  • Our annual Undergraduate Research Conference, which brings together more than 100 students from the 12 CAA schools. This year's conference was held at VCU on April 16-17. (View photos from the conference.) Next year's conference will be held April 8-10, 2011 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY.
  • The new CAA Online Undergraduate Research Journal.  Spearheaded and hosted by Georgia State University, this new CAA initiative will provide an outlet for CAA students to publish outstanding work in a reviewed, multidisciplinary journal. View the online journal.
  • Developing semester exchange programs for undergraduate researchers
